Available in fourteen beautiful shades, our tapers are dyed all the way through—not simply coated on the surface. The color remains rich and consistent as the candle burns, and our dyes are suspended in vegetable oil rather than petroleum.

Choose from three heights—8, 10, or 12 inches—with approximately one hour of burn time per inch. Every taper features a 7/8-inch base designed to fit standard candlesticks, making it easy to find the right size for everyday dinners, special occasions, and dramatic tablescapes.

LET THE WICK DO ITS WORK

A lit raw beeswax taper with a naturally curled wick and showing the connecting wick being trimmed.

Unlike most candles, taper wicks should not be trimmed before each use. Their natural curl helps regulate the flame for a clean, virtually dripless burn. Light the wick as-is. For the first burn of a joined pair, cut the connecting wick to approximately ¼ inch on each taper.

  • Our tapers burn virtually dripless when placed away from drafts, fans, open windows and other airflow. Always use a properly fitting candlestick.

  • Each taper has a 7/8-inch base designed to fit most standard candlesticks. If it sits loose, briefly warm the base over a flame and press it into place. If it feels tight, gently press and twist.

  • Beeswax naturally carries a subtle honey-like aroma from the hive. Because no added fragrance is used, the strength and character of the scent may vary slightly between batches.

  • This natural coating is called beeswax bloom. It can develop as pure beeswax ages and does not affect the candle’s quality or burn. Gently buff it away with a soft cloth if desired.

  • Our tapers contain no chemical UV preservatives. With prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, some colors—especially lighter shades—may shift or fade subtly. Store them away from sustained sunlight to help preserve their color.
